Legal practice area (rechtsgebiedenregister) 

Laurens Timmer has registered the following principal (and secondary) legal practice areas in the Dutch Bar's register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister): company law (ondernemingsrecht).

Based on this registration, he is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Dutch Bar.

 

Third-party funds (derdengeldenrekening)

Our firm has no facility to receive any third-party funds within the meaning of the Dutch Verordening op de advocatuur. If we are nevertheless confronted with third-party funds, we will ensure that the funds are either transferred directly to the entitled party in accordance with article 6.19, paragraph 1 of the Verordening op de advocatuur, or that we join a third-party funds foundation (and have the funds channelled through this foundation). All rules concerning third-party funds are then applicable. Under no circumstances do we receive third party funds in our office account.
